Ever Been Caught Off Guard?

Robert Plank’s podcast interview would be audio only, I thought, so I wasn’t positioned in front of my book display using my laptop (for better eye contact) and I was not dressed up for the occasion! To my shocking surprise he appeared on zoom with a camera! I was devastated, embarrassed, even humiliated, but what could I do?

“Go Give Your Best” is our family motto so I took a deep breathe, smiled and tried to give my best even though I did not look nor feel my best. Somehow, I survived.
