About me

Hi, my name is Susan. As a faith-based author my mission is to create uplifting, inspiring stories rooted in truth and history. I am passionate about helping children and youth develop a strong foundation of faith and identity.

My love of writing began in childhood, where early contest wins sparked a lifelong pursuit of storytelling. Later I served as Editor-in-Chief of our high school newspaper and went on to publish in magazines. Soon I was writing and sometimes illustrating books.

A longtime volunteer storyteller, I was led to puppetry, costumed storytelling, and ventriloquism. I am the founder of Stalwart Stories, built on my belief that “hearts turn when history talks.”
