1. Our Commitment

At Stalwart Stories, we believe in standing by our work and treating every customer with fairness and care. Each book is created with purpose, and we want your experience to reflect that same integrity.

Because many of our products are printed individually upon order, our return policies are designed to balance quality service with the nature of print-on-demand publishing.

2. Print-on-Demand Products (Standard Books)

Many of our books are fulfilled through trusted print-on-demand partners.

Because these items are made specifically for each order:

  • We do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse or ordering errors (such as selecting the wrong format or address)

  • However, we will gladly assist if there is a printing defect, damage, or fulfillment error

If your item arrives with an issue, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

3. Signed Copies & Special Editions

Signed books and special editions are final sale, as they are personalized and cannot be resold.

Exceptions apply only if:

  • The item arrives damaged, or

  • There is a production or shipping error

4. Bundles and Multi-Item Orders

Bundles (multiple books or special sets) may be returned only if all items in the bundle are returned together and meet the return conditions.

Partial returns of bundles are not accepted.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged

  • Defective

  • Incorrect

Please contact us within 7 days and include:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description

  • Clear photos of the issue

We will gladly:

  • Replace the item at no cost, or

  • Issue a full refund, depending on availability

6. Returns for Non–Print-on-Demand Items

If we offer items that are not print-on-demand (such as certain inventory or special stock):

  • Returns may be requested within 21 days of delivery

  • Items must be unused and in original condition

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

7. Refunds

Once a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for processing

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases of error or damage

8. Order Changes & Cancellations

Because print-on-demand orders are processed quickly:

  • Orders may only be canceled or changed within 12 hours of purchase

  • After that, production may already be underway and cannot be stopped
